The Samara region is facing a record influx of first-graders. The educational center "Southern City" in the village of Pridorozhny, Volzhsky district, scored 31 first grade, according to the publication "Izvestia".
In the educational institution in 2023, 930 first-graders will study, 30 students per class. These children and other students will be accommodated in three buildings of the school.
In social networks, they joke that the school will not have enough letters of the Russian alphabet to designate classes, and some children will have to study in the 1st "Y" and the 1st "Yo".
According to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Samara Region, the Southern City Educational Center is the largest school in the region. More than 6.8 thousand children will study there this academic year.
