The total volume of salt produced at the "Guvlyduz" enterprise of the state concern "Turkmenhimiya" in January-July this year exceeded 57,5 thousand tons, which is more than 104% higher than the plan, reports the "Turkmenistan" newspaper.
The enterprise, having over 40 million tons of raw materials, produces iodized table salt in accordance with high quality standards; it is the first in the region and the fourth in the world.
During the reporting period, "Guvlyduz" also managed to fulfill its plans for product packaging by 133%, the source notes.
