Turkmenistan has entered the top five countries in terms of the number of tourists who have visited Russia since the beginning of 2023, Orient reports with reference to the Association of Tour Operators of the Russian Federation.
In total, in January-June of this year, over 7,2 million tourists from all over the world visited Russia, including more than 14 thousand Turkmen citizens.
In the first place in terms of the number of tourists who arrived in the Russian Federation for the specified period, China is listed, Turkey is in second place, and Germany is third.
It should be noted that Moscow and St. Petersburg continue to be the most popular destinations for the Russian tourism industry.
