On Wednesday, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan, Batyr Rejepov, met with the head of the “Bolashak” Center for International Programs, Olzhas Sakenov.
The parties noted the progressive development of bilateral relations between the countries in the field of science and education. Also, there was an exchange of views on the issues of building the capacity of partnership programs of universities of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan through the organization of internships to improve the skills of scientific and technical personnel.
O. Sakenov said that the delegation of Kazakhstan intends to take part in the international forum on health, education and sports, which will be held in Ashgabat on October 10-12. This international forum will permit the delegation of Kazakhstan to present the educational programs of undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and second higher education, operating in educational institutions of Kazakhstan, the head of “Bolashak” noted.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain active contacts in all mutually beneficial areas of cooperation, the press service of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in Astana reports in its social networks.
Joint Stock Company “Center for International Programs” was established by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 4, 2005 with 100% participation of the state in the authorized capital. The shareholder of JSC “Center for International Programs” is the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. “Center for International Programs” JSC administers the “Bolashak” program, scientific internships, as well as intergovernmental grants.
