“Turkmenistan” Airlines announced the suspension of flights on the route Ashgabat - Moscow - Ashgabat from August 08 to October 28, 2023. This was reported on the official website of the air carrier.
Instead of Moscow, “Turkmenistan” Airlines will fly to Kazan according to the same schedule. Passengers who have bought tickets to Moscow can either reissue them for flights to Kazan at no additional charge, or return the money in full.
“Turkmenistan” Airlines from August 08 to October 28, 2023 suspends flights on the route Ashgabat - Moscow - Ashgabat. Flights to Russia will be operated on the Ashgabat-Kazan-Ashgabat route. Passengers who have air tickets on the Moscow-Ashgabat route must independently arrive in the city of Kazan 3 hours before departure according to the date and time indicated on the ticket”, the message says.

Ticket reissuance:
- With the consent of the passenger, previously issued tickets on the route Ashgabat - Moscow - Ashgabat will be reissued for the flight Ashgabat - Kazan - Ashgabat without deducting fees.
- Reissuance of tickets at the box office is not required. Passengers can come for check-in at the airports of Ashgabat and Kazan, according to the date and time indicated on the ticket.
A refund:
- Passengers who do not want to reissue tickets for Ashgabat-Kazan-Ashgabat flights will be issued a full refund without deductions, in accordance with the current rules and guidelines of “Turkmenistan” Airlines.
It is noted that the refund is carried out only in the country of purchase of the ticket.
Earlier, Turkmenportal reported that “Turkmenistan” Airlines announced the suspension of flights on the Ashgabat-Moscow-Ashgabat route from August 1, 2023. Flights to Russia will be operated on the route Ashgabat (ASB) – Kazan (KZN) – Ashgabat (ASB).
