Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan intend to submit a joint bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup, informs ChampionatAsia.
This was stated by the President of the Kazakhstan Football Federation Adilet Barmenkulov at the summit of football associations of Turkic-speaking countries, which was held on July 20.
He noted that cooperation with Uzbekistan in this matter has great potential, since relations between the two federations have reached a higher level in recent years.
The head of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, Arslan Aynazarov, also took part in the summit.
