A bridge under construction collapsed in Rawalpindi, killing 12 workers.
In addition, in the northern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rains, landslides and lightning strikes have killed at least 47 people. Casualties were also reported from villages in the western province of Balochistan and the southeastern province of Sindh.
