By the end of 2023, the world's largest swimming pool for surfing with artificial wave Surf Abu Dhabi will open on Hudayriat Island in Abu Dhabi, the Russian Emirates website writes.
It is planned that both professional surfers and beginners will train in the pool, as well as international surfing competitions.
The Surf Abu Dhabi pool will be part of Modon Properties' master plan. The region's first indoor UCI category 1 bike path, Trail X, Bike Park and 321 Sports already operate here. As part of this plan, the Velodrome Abu Dhabi will also open on the island in two years to host international tournaments.
