Today in Bishkek at the stadium. Dolena Omurzakova, the Iranian national football team in the second round of the CAFA Nations Cup-2023 football tournament defeated the Afghan national team with a score of 6:1.
The first goal in the 20th minute was scored by Bayer's striker Serdar Azmun, blocking the pass of a partner from the flank with his head. In the 21st minute, Porto forward Mehdi Taremi, having received an excellent pass to the move, went one on one with the Afghan goalkeeper and scored the second goal - 2:0. And five minutes later Taremi converted the penalty and brought the score to 3:0. Iran scored the fourth goal before leaving for the break - with the filing of Azmun, the player of the Dutch "Feyenoord" Alireza Jahanbakhsh scored.
At the beginning of the second half, Mehdi Taremi scored a hat-trick, and Afghanistan responded with a goal from Farshad Nur, who succeeded in a magnificent free-kick in the top nine. Then Reza Asadi set the final score - 6:1.
Thanks to this victory, Iran climbed to first place in Group B and will play Kyrgyzstan on June 16 for a ticket to the CAFA Nations Cup-2023 final.
