Indian writer Jagadish Pillai, who recorded the longest music track in history, got into the Guinness World Records, reports “Mir 24” with reference to India Today.

This is a composition that is based on the epic poem “Ramacharitamanas” (“Ocean of Rama's deeds”). This is a monument of Hindu literature, consisting of more than 15 thousand verses. The result is a track 138 hours 41 minutes and 20 seconds long - almost six days. At the same time, the recording of the work took the Indian over four years.

The man admitted that he dreamed not only to break the record of 2016, but also to draw attention to his homeland - the city of Varanasi, which is considered the spiritual center of the Hindus.
