On June 5, Tbilisi hosted a meeting of the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Georgian Commission on Economic Cooperation.

According to the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia, the parties determined the guidelines for the further development of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan Begench Gochmollayev and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili considered the possibilities of expanding trade and economic relations, investment cooperation, further implementation of joint projects for the development of transport, logistics and energy infrastructure.

Practical interactions in the fields of science, education, sports and tourism were also noted as important vectors of cooperation.
