In a number of countries of the Near and Middle East, the weather has been abnormal for this time of year, writes “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.
A number of regions in Türkiye are flooded with heavy rains. Particularly heavy precipitation is observed in the capital, as well as in Edirne and Adana. In Ankara, according to forecasts of meteorologists, it will rain for another two days, although the streets of the Turkish capital are almost completely flooded. In Sinjan, a rare phenomenon for these places was noticed - a tornado.
But in Israel, an anomalous heat for early June has set in. Almost throughout the country, the thermometer shows a temperature of 40 degrees, in the Arava desert the heat reached +47 degrees, and in the very south of the country, in Eilat, air traffic was suspended due to a dust storm. In some regions of Israel, fires broke out due to the heat, and in the Negev desert, the heat was replaced by heavy rains and the threat of floods.
