1. “Turkmen Airlines” began flying from Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan after almost a two-year break. On June 2, the carrier resumed regular flights on the Ashgabat-Almaty route and back. Flights will be operated once a week, on Fridays. The total travel time will be about 2,5 hours. Air tickets from Ashgabat to Almaty can be purchased at turkmenistanairlines.tm. The cost of an air ticket from Ashgabat to Almaty for citizens of Turkmenistan for June 2023 is 3587,5 TMT.

2. The Ashgabat Palace of Döwletliler köşgi (orphans) hosted an event dedicated to the International Children's Day, during which the children were presented with gifts from the President of Turkmenistan and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation.

3. The city of Arkadag was awarded a certificate of joining the project “Development of sustainable, green, climate-friendly cities with innovative solutions in the OSCE region”, and the International Seaport of Turkmenbashi was awarded the EcoPorts certificate. Both documents were presented to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Thursday by OSCE Secretary General Helga Maria Schmid.

During her visit, the singer gave a master class at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva.

6. The new building of the velayat department of adalat was put into operation in the city of Balkanabat in a solemn atmosphere. The opening ceremony was attended by the heads of the Ministry of Adalat of Turkmenistan, the Balkan velayat and the Balkanabat hyakimlik, representatives of the military and law enforcement agencies of the velayat, deputies of the Mejlis of the country, representatives of public organizations, the media and residents of the city.

7. Russian scientists from the Baltic Federal University received a patent for the technology of oil extraction from seaweed. The raw materials for producing oil using this technology are algae and marine debris, which wash ashore in large quantities after a storm. Biomass from algae and garbage is loaded into a special reactor and heated to 300 degrees at a pressure of 30-40 atmospheres. Thus, oil, coal and water are absorbed in the reactor.

8. On May 30, the construction of the new city of Asman started in Kyrgyzstan - the President of the country Sadyr Japarov laid a capsule on the site of the first building. Preparation of the project of the new city and all related documentation took two years. According to the project, the new city with a total area of 4 thousand hectares will be designed for 500-700 thousand inhabitants.

The coaching staff of the national football team of Turkmenistan headed by Mergen Orazov announced the composition of the national team for the CAFA Nations Cup 2023 tournament, which will be held from June 10 to 20 under the auspices of the Central Asian Football Association. The squad included 25 players. Also, Turkmen legionnaires from other championships were called up to the national team - Teymur Charyev from “Abdysh-Ata” and Mirza Beknazarov from “Narva-Trans”. The national team of Turkmenistan will start preparing for the CAFA Nations Cup 2023 tournament today in the city of Yegoryevsk, Moscow region of the Russian Federation.
