June 25, starting from 2020, is Independence Day in Croatia. This day was originally celebrated as Statehood Day, which was established in 2002 to commemorate Croatia's independence from Yugoslavia in 1991. But on November 14, 2019, the Croatian Parliament passed a new law on holidays and moved Statehood Day to May 30, and June 25 became a memorable day called Independence Day.
