Canada defeated Germany in the 2023 Ice Hockey World Cup final

Canada's ice hockey team beat Germany in the World Cup final. The meeting was held in Tampere (Finland) and ended with a score of 5:2 in favor of Andre Turigny's wards.

As part of the winners, Sammy Blé (11th, 45th minutes) scored a double, Lawson Cruz (38th), Tyler Toffoli (52nd) and Scott Lawton (58th) scored one goal each. The Germans scored John-Jason Peterka (8th) and Daniel Fischbuch (34th).

It is worth noting that the Canadian team won the World Cup for the 28th time. Canadians also have 16 silver medals and nine bronze ones.

The German team became the silver medalist of the World Championship for the third time, and the Germans also took bronze medals twice.
