On one of the subway lines in Beijing, they introduced payment for travel using a palm print, according to the Xinhua news agency.
The palm print fare pilot program started on Sunday on the subway line to Daxing International Airport.
To pay with the palm of your hand, before entering the metro, you must enter biometric information in the ticket machine and log in to the WeChat messenger. Then it will be enough to put your hand on the turnstile at the bus stop.
The money will be debited automatically after exiting the metro. This technology allows you to pay for travel without any problems even in the absence of cash and a dead smartphone.
