The trade turnover between Turkey and Turkmenistan increased by almost a third in the first three months of 2023 and amounted to 541,05 million USD, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish Institute of Statistics.
The report notes that this figure is 27.4% more than in the first three months of last year - 424.67 million dollars.
According to the agency, in January-March 2023, Turkmen exports to Turkey amounted to 306.06 million USD, which is 34.6% more than the same period in 2022 - 227.4 million USD.
In the first three months of this year, Turkmenistan increased imports from Turkey by 19.1% compared to the same period in 2022 – 197,27 million USD - up to 234,99 million USD.
According to the Institute of Statistics, the trade turnover between Turkey and Turkmenistan in 2022 amounted to 2,06 billion USD, which is 21.8 percent more than in 2021 – 1,69 billion USD.
