Personnel changes in the leadership of the State Concern "Turkmengas" were made by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held today.
In accordance with the Decree, Babaev Maksat Mammetsaparovich, who previously held the position of Deputy Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" was appointed the new Minister of State of Turkmenistan - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas", the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.
The former head of Turkmengas, Amanov Batyr Amangeldievich, was dismissed from this post in connection with his appointment as the new Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan for the fuel and energy complex.
Earlier, from January 13 to April 5, 2017, Maksat Babayev already headed the Turkmengas State Corporation, and from April 5, 2017 to April 11, 2018, in the rank of Deputy Prime Minister, he supervised the Fuel and Energy Complex in the Government.
