1. A festival of the creative heritage of Magtymguly, timed to coincide with the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the great poet and thinker of the East, has opened in Ashgabat. Musical groups performed on the stage of the “Watan” cinema and concert center. Among the performers are people's and honored artists of Turkmenistan. In the coming days, the regional stages of the festival will be held in Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats.

2. “Tashkent” park invites residents and guests of the Turkmen capital to the concert of singer Dinara Saparova, which will be held on May 7 in Chayhana. The “Tashkent” recreation park opened on Magtymguly avenue in Ashgabat in October last year. Decorative and architectural elements of Uzbek architecture were used in its design, small copies of the most famous and recognizable buildings of Tashkent were installed. The concert starts at 19:30.

3. Within the framework of the contracts signed in February 2022, the Chinese company CRRC Ziyang sent two diesel locomotives for freight rail transportation to the railway operator of Turkmenistan. The new locomotives will be delivered in May 2023. At the beginning of 2023, Turkmenistan signed an online contract for the supply of spare parts for locomotives of a Chinese company in the amount of more than 30 million USD.

4. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, at the invitation of the British side, arrived in London on a working visit to participate in the coronation ceremony of King Charles III. Upon arrival at London International Airport, the head of Turkmenistan was met by officials at the gangway of the plane. The Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Afghan province of Herat held a humanitarian action on the territory of a 20-bed maternity hospital in the city of Turgundi, built in 2016 as humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
