The boxing tournament held within the framework of the Spartakiad of universities of the Republic of Tatarstan has ended in Kazan. Among the boxers in the weight category up to 80 kg there was no equal to the 4th year student of KFU Reshit Ovezov. The Turkmen student had three fights, two of which ended ahead of schedule.

According to the press service of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Kazan, Ovezov defeated a student of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering D. Mikhailov in the final match.

“Reshit is a candidate master of sports in kickboxing. He started his sports career back in Turkmenistan as a schoolboy. In Russia, R. Ovezov continued to combine studies and sports, regularly participating in various competitions”, - the report says.
