1. On the International Day of Human Space Flight, a flower-laying ceremony at the bust of Yuri Gagarin was held on the territory of the Department of Education, Science and Culture of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan. Representatives of the Russian Embassy, teachers and students of the Joint Turkmen-Russian General Education School named after A. S. Pushkin, journalists took part in the solemn event.

2. Tashkent will host the International Conference of Space Technologies “Central Eurasia-2023”. The official sponsor of the conference will be the Agency “Turkmenaragatnashyk”. More than two hundred specialized experts and heads of space agencies from 12 countries will take part in the conference. Its participants will have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge in the space industry and strengthen international cooperation in this area.

3. A batch of new equipment has arrived at the “Lebapsuwhojalyk” production association - 6 bulldozers and 12 excavators from the Japanese company Komatsu. In the near future, they expect to receive another 15 units of new equipment. An extensive network of water facilities has been established in the Lebap velayat. The total length of irrigation and collector systems exceeds 14850 kilometers. The activities of the Lebapsuwhojalyk PA are mainly aimed at providing rural workers with water, carrying out land reclamation work, and preventing soil salinization processes. With the help of reliable equipment, employees of the production association annually deepen the bottom of canals and ditches for thousands of kilometers, clean them from the silt that settles on them.

4. With the help of the Çapar mobile application, residents of Turkmenistan can pay for the services of the Belet Film online cinema and Älem TV satellite television. This can be done in two ways - with a bank card of the “Altyn asyr” system or from the balance of a TMCell mobile phone. The developer of Çapar, the postal service company “Turkmenpost”, continues to work on improving and expanding the functionality of the mobile application. Today, through Çapar, residents of Turkmenistan can pay for utilities, cable TV, call a courier to send mail, order water and much more.

5. XXII Universal International Exhibition “White City – Ashgabat” in 2023 will be held on May 24-25. The exhibition will be held on the territory of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat at the address Chandybil avenue, house 143. The annual forum is timed to coincide with the Day of the City of Ashgabat. This year, the exhibition will demonstrate the achievements and potential of the Turkmen capital in the field of urban planning, industrial, cultural and intellectual fields, as well as its significant socio-economic opportunities.

6. The motocross “The Caspian Sea – Sea of Friendship” finished in Astrakhan. The motorcade was solemnly welcomed in the Astrakhan Kremlin. The participants of the motocross covered 5000 km. roads, visiting Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan and the Republic of Dagestan. Within the framework of the motorcycle race, Governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin held meetings with officials of the Caspian states, spoke with representatives of youth organizations, and signed a number of documents on cooperation.

7. HBO is making a series based on the Harry Potter books. According to HBO CEO Casey Bloys, the series will be filmed in strict accordance with each of the seven Potter books, with each book given an entire season. Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling will also serve as an executive producer on the series.
