Chelsea have announced the return of Frank Lampard as manager. The English specialist has been named acting head coach until the end of the season, according to the Blues' press office.
It also became known that Lampard will lead the team on April 8 in the English Premier League match against Wolves.
The report notes that Lampard's staff will include Ashley Cole, Joe Edwards and Chris Jones, with whom he worked during the previous season at Chelsea (2019-2021), and at Everton.
We remind that the Londoners occupy 11th place in the Premier League standings, lagging behind the European Cup zone by 10 points. They still have a Champions League quarter-final match against Real Madrid ahead of them.
