A new TV channel "Arkadag" will appear in the structure of the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan, which will start broadcasting from September 2023 at 15 hours a day.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on its creation today, the Watan news program of the Turkmen television reported.
The document approved the structure of the central office of the above-mentioned State Committee.
The decision to create a new TV channel was made “in order to prepare highly professional programs that skillfully reveal and promote the great deeds and achievements of the independent neutral state of Turkmenistan, including in the city of Arkadag, bring them to the people through TV channels, as well as increase the efficiency of Turkmen television, further improve State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography," the Decree notes.
