9 years old Chinese student Yiheng Wang became the champion in the average time to solve the Rubik's Cube, showing a time of 4,69 minutes, reports the “MIR 24” portal with reference to the Guinness World Records website.

The competition was held in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The results of the participants were the average score from five rounds of puzzle-solving. When calculating the average result, the fastest and slowest rounds were not taken into account.

Yihang Wang set the fastest time, beating previous record holders Max Park of the USA and Timon Kolasinski of Poland with an average time of 4,86 minutes.

A Chinese student has won the third consecutive Rubik's Cube speed competition this year.
