A research and production center for horse breeding will soon appear in Turkmenistan. The corresponding Decree “in order to further develop the art of horse breeding for thousands of years, improve the breeding of “heavenly” horses, improve selection and breeding work in this area” was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, announced the “Watan” news program of the Turkmen television today.
The document instructs the State Association “Turkmen atlary” (“Turkmen horses”) in the prescribed manner to establish the Research and Production Center for Horse Breeding, as well as to develop and approve its Charter in the prescribed manner.
In February of this year, the Presidential Decree established the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annayev, which was transferred to the State Association “Turkmen atlary” (“Turkmen horses”).
