Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan Batyr Rejepov held a meeting with Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurkis Daueshov.
During the meeting, the main attention of the parties was paid to the issues of holding the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan this year and events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen thinker and classical poet of the East Magtymguly Fragi. This was reported by the Turkmen diplomatic department on its page on the social network.
In addition, Rejepov and Daueshov exchanged views on the implementation of the agreements arising from the instructions of the heads of state of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan on the establishment of monuments to Abay Kunanbayev in Ashgabat and Magtymguly Fragi in Astana.
