The State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan has launched a new VISA Virtual bank card, with which you can make purchases in foreign online stores and services.
VISA Virtual is designed specifically for secure online shopping. Its feature is the absence of a physical carrier. After registration, the user receives only the details: number, expiration date, verification codes. This information is sufficient for online calculations.
To open a card, customers just need to apply to a branch of Vnesheconombank with a passport and a copy of it, fill out an application and deposit the initial amount to the account, which will be stored on the card in US dollars.
As representatives of the bank explained to Turkmenportal, a virtual card can be used to pay for purchases on the Internet, order services, purchase electronic tickets, book hotels and much more.
