1. A hotline has been opened for citizens of Turkmenistan who are in Türkiye to provide them with the necessary assistance. You can seek help or advice from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Türkiye or the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul.
2. The devastating earthquake that occurred in Türkiye affected both those who were in this country at that time and the citizens of Turkmenistan. This was stated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Stressing that Turkmenistan is a reliable support for each of its citizens, the National Leader of the Turkmen people said that “if a problem arises, the necessary support will be provided through the relevant institutions”.
3. Turkmenistan will honor the memory of those killed in the devastating earthquake in Türkiye. In the near future, sadaka will be given in their memory at the “Halk hakydasy” memorial complex. This was stated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
5. Turkmenistan is in the top 10 importing countries from Uzbekistan, including for some categories of equipment. In 2022, 2,4 thousand TV sets were imported to Turkmenistan from the neighboring republic. For example, more than 146 thousand Uzbek TV sets were delivered to Russia, and about 48 thousand to Azerbaijan.
6. Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov will take part in the World Government Summit, which will be held in Dubai from February 13 to 15 2023. It is expected that the heads of governments of 20 states, more than 250 ministers and 10 thousand statesmen, experts and other authorities from around the world will take part in the summit.
7. Correspondence on the Internet in the native language is gaining popularity in Armenia. Since 2012, the Republic has been celebrating the Day of the Armenian Alphabet on the Internet. It falls on February 7. The idea of establishing the Day of Armenian Electronic Writing belongs to a group of activists. According to the initiators of the project, the goal is to teach people to use their own writing. This will help preserve the purity of the language and eradicate its various distortions on the web due to the frequent use of the Latin alphabet when writing texts in Armenian.
8. Malaysia Airlines will resume charter flights from Kuala Lumpur to Tashkent and back from March 1. It is planned that the flights will be carried out on Airbus A330 aircraft once every 10 days.
9. Turkmen Bellator fighter Dovletjan Yagshimuradov will fight against Lithuanian Julius Anglickas. The light heavyweight bout will be held at Bellator 292 in San Jose on March 10. Dovletjan Yagshimuradov is an active Bellator fighter and the first representative of Turkmenistan in this organization. Dovletjan has 19 wins, 7 losses and 1 draw. 31 years old native of the city of Plunge Julius Anglickas had 13 fights in mixed martial arts and won 10 victories.
