The revolver of the 26th USA President Theodore Roosevelt was auctioned off for 910 thousand US dollars, writes “MIR 24” with the reference to the Rock Island Auction Company.
The revolver was presented to Roosevelt presumably at the very end of the XIX during the American – Spanish War, that is, even before he become president. Roosevelt used to keep it on his bedside table.
The weapon is more than a hundred years old, but it is in excellent condition.
Theodore Roosevelt is a distant relative of another US President, Franklin Roosevelt. Theodore Roosevelt become the head of the Unites States in 1901 and stayed at the post for two terms.
