Innopolis University has patented a cable construction robot on the territory of eight states, including Turkmenistan. The design of this robot is easy to transport, and it is lighter than other construction 3D printers, reports TASS with reference to the press service of the university.

“A construction 3D printer developed by specialists of the NTI Competence Center in the direction of “Technology of Robotics and Mechatronics Components” at Innopolis University, patented by the Eurasian Patent Office and received exclusive rights to develop in all member countries of the Eurasian Patent Convention - Turkmenistan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Russia”, the message says.

“It does not need to be specially adjusted for a certain area of the building, it is only necessary to put the towers with winches, on which the cables are fixed, at the right distance, pour the building mixture into the container, set the parameters and start the 3D printing process from the remote control”, the source specified.

It is also noted that the design of the robot is convenient to transport, lighter than other construction 3D printers and economical to use. In addition, the Eurasian Patent Office recognized the development of Innopolis University as the best patent in November 2022.

Earlier it was reported that the cable robot will be able to build a two-story house in a week using 3D printing.

For reference: Innopolis is a city in Tatarstan, the construction of which began in 2012, the opening was three years later. In 2012, a special economic zone was created there by a decree of the Russian government. The authorities of Tatarstan are developing Innopolis as a center of attraction for IT companies.
