Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan will provide assistance to one another in liquidation of the consequences of emergency situations and natural disasters. The document was ratified by the Kazakhstan Senate.

As “Kazinform” reports, earlier the documents were signed with the Governments of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

The new agreements will enable the sides to exchange experience in forecast of emergency situations, preparation of the population for the action in case of threat and their emergence.

“For many years, we have interacted within the framework of contacts between ministers or our territorial divisions. We need close cooperation and early notification of the population about the risks and threats that may arise in the territories of neighboring states. We must link all research institutes, as well as the early warning system”, said the Minister of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan Yuri Ilyin.

The agreements include the opportunity of training the civil defense specialists in educational organizations of the signatory countries.
