Today Turkmenistan celebrates the Day of Oil and Gas Industry and Geology Workers.
On the occasion of the holiday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov cordially congratulated industry specialists on this day widely and solemnly celebrated in the country every year.
In his congratulations, the President noted that the development of the oil and gas industry is one of the priority areas for the country's economic development. The program “Revival of a new era of a powerful state: the National program of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052” provides for the implementation of large-scale projects to further increase the production capacity of the fuel and energy complex.
Particular attention in this direction is paid to the diversification of the oil and gas sector, the modernization of its infrastructure, conducting prospecting and exploration work in order to identify new rich deposits, increase the production and processing of hydrocarbons, and form various routes for the delivery of Turkmen energy resources to world energy markets.
“I am firmly convinced that workers in the oil and gas industry and the geological industry will continue to fulfill all the tasks assigned to them with honor”, the head of state noted.
In conclusion, the President wished the oilmen, gas workers and geologists of independent neutral Turkmenistan good health, happy and prosperous life, great success in the further development of the oil and gas industry.
