In the run-up of the New 2023 Year, the Turkmen capital is decorated with bright illumination, decorated Christmas Trees have already appeared on squares, near the buildings of ministries and agencies, universities and various organizations– the main symbol of the holiday.
Work is actively underway on the square in front of the capital's Cultural and Entertainment Center “Alem”, where, according to the tradition established in recent years, the main New Year tree of the country is being installed and the main events of the wonderful New Year's holiday are taking place.
The frame of the main symbol of the New Year has already been built here, which was assembled from real, special-grade spruce branches delivered from Russia.
As reported in the city hyakimlik, the height of the green beauty, along with the star adorning it, is 42 meters, the diameter is 16 meters. We have already decided on the style and design of the New Year's town being built on the square. One of its decorations will be figurines of the heroes of national fairy tales beloved by children and the symbol of the coming year according to the Eastern calendar – a rabbit.
Very soon, merry New Year's performances will unfold here with the participation of theater groups of the capital, the State Circus, pop singers, young artists.
The New Year tree and the fairytale city surrounding it will be completely decorated by December 15, when bright constellation of lights will be lid up with the wave of a magic wand of Santa Claus. Thus, will be given a start of the most magnificent and long awaited holiday, which will be held not only in Ashgabat, but also in all cities and villages of the country.
And as of yet the main New Year Tree of the country is being dressed up for the holiday.
