“Alpar” ethno-group from the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation) will perform in the concert program of the International Festival “National music and song art in the heritage of the peoples of the world”.
The young instrumental collective makes original use various reconstructed ethno instruments, forgotten genres of Tatar music, which receive a modern sounding in the performance of “Alpar”.
The head of the ethno-group and the сreatiсe association of music masters “Alpar” - Almaz Ashadullin – multiinstrumentalist, arranger, composer, researcher-turkologist.
The musicians' repertoire includes authentic ethnographic melodies in the lyric-epic genres of dastan, kasyida, bayit and munajaty, as well as author's stylized music based on the words of Tatar poets of the Middle Ages, such as Kul-Gali, Saif Saray and Muhamedyar. Tatar spiritual music occupies a special part of the repertoire of the ethno-collective “Alpar”.
The ensemble actively participates in various international ethno-festivals, thanks to which its popularity is growing not only in Tatarstan, but also far beyond the borders of the republic.
Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital will be able to delve into the creative atmosphere of live music, hear Tatar melodies performed on such instruments as kubyz, dombra, kurai, daf, kubyz and others.
The ethno-group and the creative association of musical masters “Alpar” were created in 2018 with the aim of promoting the art of epic performance-dastans, bait-munajats, aitysh-rivayats on ethnic musical instruments
