Today, within the framework of the second day of his official visit to the UAE, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of the business forum “Turkmenistan-UAE” in Abu Dhabi, writes the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The publication notes that the day before, Turkmen-Emirati high-level talks were held in the capital of the UAE, during which the commitment of the two states and their fraternal peoples to traditional relations of friendship and trust, as well as mutual readiness to actively expand multifaceted cooperation on a mutually beneficial and equal basis, was confirmed.
The participants of the business forum showed great interest in the exhibition of various products manufactured in Turkmenistan. The famous Turkmen carpets, as well as various carpet products were presented at the exposition. The products of the Turkmen textile industry were demonstrated in all their diversity.
During the opening ceremony of the business forum, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov spoke about the most promising areas of cooperation between entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the UAE.
It is also noted that within the framework of the business meeting, the possibilities of further deepening the established ties were discussed, specific proposals were made to increase the volume of trade, expand and diversify the mutually beneficial economic partnership.
“The high productivity of the Turkmenistan-UAE business forum was confirmed by the signing ceremony of bilateral documents held within its framework”, said the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
