1. From December 2022, S7 Airlines will increase the number of flights from Russia to Turkmenistan from one to two flights per week. Regular flights will operate on Mondays and Thursdays.
2. Making an appointment in the electronic pre-appointment system of the German Foreign Ministry for applying for a Schengen visa in Turkmenistan is again possible. An application for a visa is submitted no earlier than 3 months and no later than 15 days before the trip.
3. A delegation led by Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Shentop arrived in Turkmenistan. On the first day of the visit, Shentop visited the memorial complex “People's Memory” in Ashgabat and took part in the wreath-laying ceremony. It is also expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings between the parliaments of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye.
4. Among the exhibits of the State Museum of Turkmenistan there are unique finds from the Karashor depression, which is located in the northwestern part of the Karakum desert. These are fossilized shark teeth. They were discovered by Anatoly Grigoryevich Bushmakin and Aman Nigarovich Nigarov as a result of geological and paleontological studies. Scientists believe that in ancient times the entire territory of Turkmenistan was covered with a boundless sea, and when it disappeared, the Karakum desert was formed. Presumably, sharks were ancient inhabitants of the sea depths of the Karashor depression. Exactly what they were is a mystery, but ancient shark teeth are 65 million years old.
5. On the second day of the Festival of Friendship between the Turkmen and Uzbek peoples, a creative meeting of the poets of the two countries was held in the velayat library of Dashoguz. A warm welcome was arranged for the guests in the library and a tour of the museum was organized. The participants of the meeting discussed outstanding poets and writers of the two countries - Magtymguly Fragi and Alisher Navoi. Agreements were also reached on cooperation in translation activities.
6. The police of Ajman, one of the emirates of the UAE, from November 21, 2022 to January 6 next year, introduces a 50% discount on fines for traffic violations. Discounted fines can be paid through service centers, the Ministry of Interior or Ajman Police app, and special smart kiosks. At the same time, the number of fines must be at least 5 thousand dirhams for individuals and 20 thousand dirhams for companies and institutions.
7. Russian nutritionist Irina Pisareva told what should be a portion of dumplings so as not to spoil the figure. Pelmeni is a rather high-calorie dish, so it is difficult to call it dietary. A serving of dumplings in 10-15 pieces can contain approximately 300-380 kilocalories, and this is without adding sauces. The nutritionist recommends eating no more than 10-15 pieces at a time, but without adding mayonnaise or ketchup.

9. Sports functionary Gianni Infantino will be re-elected as president of the International Football Federation for a second four-year term. Infantino's candidacy will be the only one in the FIFA presidential elections, which will be held in March 2023.
