The Eurasian Equestrian Association (EEA) will launch a new series of tournaments in Russia and its member countries in 2023, reports Interfax.

“Starts to overcome obstacles will be held among children, youths, riders under 25 years old, as well as amateur athletes of all ages, in the individual and team competition, and will significantly expand and strengthen the position of equestrian sports in the single competitive space of Eurasia”, the message says.

“Competitions Maxima Masters Challenge Cup Eurasian League can be organized in every region of Russia, as well as in other states of the Eurasian Association (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan). At the same time, the tournaments of the series held in each of the countries are open to all Eurasian riders,” specified the agency.

It is also noted that the Maxima Masters Eurasian League Challenge Cup competitions with an obstacle height of no more than 120 cm do not conflict with the National Championships of the countries of the Eurasian Association, their high-level tournaments and other international competitions, and can be combined by dates and venue.

The Eurasian Equestrian Association includes eleven states. They are combined into 3 groups: European (Russia, Belarus, Moldova), Central Asian (Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan) and Caspian-Caucasian (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran).
