A new logistics railway route was laid by the “Altyn Dowur” company

The transport and logistics company “Altyn Dowur”, specializing in the implementation of rail freight transportation, with the support of “Demiryollary” OJSC, together with Nakty Kolik LLP (Kazakhstan), has activated a new international transport freight corridor passing through the territory of Turkmenistan.

The first train on the new route delivers a batch of coal from Kyrgyzstan to Türkiye. The company provided freight wagons to the Kyrgyz side, from the Karasu station (Kyrgyzstan) the coal shipment proceeded through Uzbekistan to the Farab station in Turkmenistan. Further, the wagons loaded with coal arrived at the Serakhs station, where, on the territory of the International Warehouse Yard of the “Halkara Gatnaw Logistics” ES, coal was reloaded onto the wagons provided by the Turkish partner. Then the Kyrgyz coal will go to its destination through Iran to the Turkoglu station. Until the very end, the cargo will be forwarded by representatives of the “Altyn Dowur” company. At the initial stage, it is planned to transport about 40 000 tons of coal.

Previously, this kind of cargo from the CIS countries was delivered to Türkiye through the territories of other countries, but now Turkmenistan has also joined the logistics chain.
