In three cities of Turkmenistan - Ashgabat, Mary and Turkmenabat, days of Japanese culture were held, timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
As noted on the Japanese Embassy's social media page, more than 3000 people attended the cultural events in the three cities.
Within the framework of an extensive program, Turkmen citizens got acquainted with Japanese cinema, the art of cooking Japanese dishes, origami, touched both traditional and modern areas of the culture of the land of the rising sun.
The message of the Japanese diplomatic mission also notes that from November 15 to 20 of this year, a concert of Japanese drums Vadaiko performed by the Japanese drum group SAI will be held in Ashgabat, Mary and Turkmenabat.
