The total volume of income of credit institutions of Turkmenistan in January – September 2022 increased by 8.4% in comparison with the same period last year. It was reported by the Chairman of the Central Bank Toyly Myalikov during the extended Governmental meeting, the State Information Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
As Myalikov noted, as of October 1 of the current year, the balance of loans issued for various segments of the economy is 9.2% higher. In particular, loans in the national currency increased by 16.7%.
In general credit indications grew in all directions. For example, private sector was provided a loan by 34.3% more, 3.1% more for development of small and medium entrepreneurship, 1.9% more the private agriculture producers, 7.5% more for purchasing of real estate by citizens.
It was also noted that at present time the work on providing loans for industrial and agricultural complexes, financing of investment projects is conducted.
