First in Tajikistan “Juventus” football academy opened in Dushanbe

Today, with the participation of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, a modern sports and entertainment complex consisting of the UFC Gym and the Academy of the Italian football club “Juventus” was put into operation in Dushanbe.

Emomali Rahmon got acquainted with the conditions and opportunities provided at the “Juventus” Academy in Tajikistan. The height of the Academy's indoor football field is 17 meters, the length is 80 meters, the width is 40 meters. At the same time, a large monitor with a height of 14 meters and a length of 7 meters is installed inside the field, which shows live broadcasts of training sessions.

The construction of the facility cost 30 million somoni, the official website of the Football Federation of Tajikistan reports.

Juventus Football Club is the most titled club in Italy and one of the best football teams in the world.

In accordance with the methodology of the “Juventus” Football Academy, when teaching and training children and adolescents from 5 to 16 years old, the main attention is paid to tactical and technical capabilities, game methodology, sports and psychological aspects and the comprehensive development of players. Every year, each age group will be selected for enrollment of children from poor families on a free basis.

The methodology of the “Juventus” Academy includes both the development of football skills, as well as training and education. The “Juventus” Academy in Dushanbe, in addition to the football field, also includes classrooms, locker rooms, showers, a dry sauna, a gym, a meeting room and a place for parents to look after children.

The aim of the Academy is to educate talented football players from the younger generation, to promote the popularization of sports and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, as well as the further development of football in Tajikistan.

Currently, the “Juventus Academy” project is being implemented in more than 50 countries in Europe, Asia and America and covers about 20 thousand children.
