A 2nd year student of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Davut Nazmyradov became the winner of the international karate tournament Banzai Cup 2022 in Berlin (Germany).
The athlete fought in the “kumite” section in the weight category up to 75 kilograms among adults. In the final match, Nazmyradov defeated Durham Mitchell from Australia. In the same weight category, Turkmen karateka Bayry Bayryev won bronze.
Davut Nazmyradov won two more silver awards in the “kumite” section in the weight category up to 75 kilograms among athletes under 21 years old and in the “Open” category up to 75 kilograms.
