The Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) handed over to Turkmenistan test systems for the detection of monkeypox, produced by the “Vector” State Scientific Center.
It is reported by RIA with reference to the press service of the department.
The agreement on the supply of tests came about on June 10 after a meeting between the then Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan Nurmuhammet Amannepesov and the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.
This agreement also includes the provision of advisory assistance.
Russia also provided tests for the diagnosis of monkeypox to Armenia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
