The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan reports an increase in the volume of exported goods in the country.
A significant part of exports is agriculture. In particular, the export of tomatoes has increased. From the beginning of 2022, over 78 thousand tons were sent, which is for 50% more than the last year’s indicators.
The Customs Service also notes the wide range of vegetables, fruits, melons, beans and dried fruit and vegetable products exported to neighboring countries.
Footwear prevails among non-food products: since the beginning of the year, it has been exported three times more than last year.
This year the largest growth in exports in quantitative terms occurred in the following commodity groups as detergents, furniture, raw hides and leather.
The increase in the volume of exported goods requires simplification and harmonization of customs procedures, the creation of favorable conditions for the uninterrupted movement of cargo flows. The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan marks that they conduct a purposeful work.
