The Broad Arrow Auctions will list a classic Aston Martin DB5 owned by actor Sir Sean Connery in August. The body of the car under the number DB5/1681/R is painted in gray, and the interior trim is framed in red.
According to experts, the rarity can go under the hammer for 1,800,000 USD. The Aston Martin DB5 has become a true cinematic classic since it was featured in the third James Bond film, “Goldfinger”, starring Sean Connery. As writes the publication elitethings.com, the actor purchased the car in 2018 and immediately sent it in for restoration and refinement in order to make it as similar as possible to the instance that participated in the filming of “Goldfinger”.
Also, it is noted that the winner of the auction will be able to drive an Aston Martin DB5 at the wheel, which will be driven by Sir Jackie Stewart, a three-time Formula-1 champion and a great friend of Sean Connery.
