The Japanese company Hokuyupack Co. paid three million yen for two melons of “yubari” sort of the new harvest. The auction took place on the Hokkaido island. As per mir24, melons of this sort are considered to be elite due to the rich sweet taste of the juicy flesh of a soft orange color. “Yubari” melons have almost perfect spherical shape and are considered a wonderful gift in Japan.
