As a result of the draw, 44 youth teams will be divided into 6 groups of four teams and 4 groups of five teams, within which a single round tournament will be held. The qualifying round starts on September 10 and ends on September 18, 2022. Tickets to the Youth Asian Cup-2023 will receive 10 group winners and 5 best teams from the runners-up, where Uzbekistan (the tournament’s host) is already automatically located.

The qualifying matches will be organized without the principle of zoning, notes the source.
