In Portugal for the first time was made a deal on selling an apartment for bitcoins without converting it into fiat money. As informs ixt.com, a three-room apartment in the city of Braga was bought last Thursday.
The transaction amount was 3 BTC (108 204 USD as of May 7). The first real estate purchase without converting cryptocurrency into fiat money was carried out with the participation of the real estate company Zome, the law firm Antas da Cunha, the chairman of the notary office of Portugal and Swiss crypto partners.
It is noted that in the country it was permitted to make transactions for the purchase and sale of real estate using digital assets in April of this year. Earlier, the purchaser had to convert cryptocurrency to fiat.
