Russian economist Alexei Elsukov spoke about a new project for the production of stone toilet, office and book paper. According to him, the launch of the production of paper from limestone and non-toxic polymer is scheduled for this summer. The author of the unusual initiative said that limestone can be used to create both thick wrapping paper and office, book and toilet paper. And in the case of establishing mass production, prices for stone paper will be even lower than for ordinary paper.
As ferra.ru notes, such paper is already being produced in Japan, Uzbekistan and Turkey.
