Today, at the initiative of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, a bilateral working online meeting with Georgian customs officers took place, during which the participants exchanged practical experience in implementing the "Single Window" system, according to the Service's website.

Georgia is an example of a country that has successfully implemented the "Single Window" principle in public services. The study of the international best practices for the introduction of digital technologies is important for optimizing the operation of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, which is the coordinating body of the "Single Window for Export-Import Operations" project under implementation in the country.

The participants of the meeting considered issues related to the organization and operation scheme of the "Single Window" system, including the procedure for customs clearance and provision of services within this system.

Georgian specialists provided ready-made presentations and materials in these areas.

At the end of the working meeting, the parties stressed the importance of holding such exchange events, expressing hope for further fruitful cooperation, the source notes.

Earlier we reported that the transition to cross-border paperless trade was discussed in Ashgabat.
